Jarek Zietek is one of the oldest members of 'NoLeftEar', having been associated with them since the early nineties, when he first met Robert A. Burns at Zak Klub Studentow.

Jarek who has played music from before he was a teenager is the organisations journeyman musician and can literally play and sing in any musical genre. At klub Angielski (in Zak) he concentrated on English language songs, folk style. If they wanted a Bob Dylan evening or an Irish night, he was the man. His vast repetoire of songs are endless, as well as being a highly respected accomplished guitarist.

                                 

In the last twenty years Jarek has played at many of Polands greatest festivals, and like the Chameleon he changes his persona to fit the event... Blues or Country or Jazz or Folk, just about anything. The open air arena is his natural home.

During the nineties he played all of the major venues around Gdansk, and was a pivoltal part of the Maybe Theatre Company with another friend of 'NoLeftEar' the enigmatic theatre producer Tadeusz Wolanski.

  As you would expect of  Jarek he divides his time between various musical projects including The Zietek Band (a 10 piece outfit), deFibrylaters, Knitter and the Zietek Duo all delivering different kinds of music to their audiencies. During recent years he has joined forces with Polish rock man Jarek Janiszewski to form the duet Gremplina. This popular duo started its life as a musical sketch on Tele 5 France as part of a comedy show produced and written by Skiba. The cult sucess of the TV series prompted them to take the project on the road, and when their busy schedules allow Gremplina rises to amuse and entertain.
